Haichao is a final year PhD student in Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. Haichao studied Biotechnology during his undergraduate degree and delved into Medical Sciences during his MPhil program. Currently, he is developing novel artificial intelligence methods to detect cancer based on next-generation DNA sequencing data of cell-free DNA molecules in body fluids. After his PhD study, Haichao aims to continue his translational research and implement the novel method in clinical settings to benefit patients.
