Alberto Conti

Department of Pathology

Alberto Conti is a PhD candidate at the Department of Pathology in the group of Prof Rahul Roychoudhuri. Originally from Spain, Alberto moved to the UK to complete an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of York. As part of his undergraduate, Alberto worked at GSK for a year, where he developed a keen interest in immunology and cancer immunotherapy. This pushed him to explore the development novel methods for improving the efficacy of cell therapies against solid tumours in the Roychoudhuri group. In the near future, Alberto aims to translate the work from his PhD into the clinic.
